Left \u2014 right, conservative \u2014 progressive, feminine \u2014 masculine \u2026 \u2018Such bipolar thought patterns are no longer sufficient to understand our complex late-modern world,\u2019 says Professor Michael Welker, the renowned Heidelberg theologian. New, pluralistic explanations are needed. For the functioning of the world, the coexistence of people and the relationship with God\u201d, according to the report by Diana Deutsch in the Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung. Michael Welker and 150 international researchers spent five years dissecting, sorting and examining late modernity. The result is now available: \u201cWhat Might Make Life Better?\u201d The oeuvre is neatly divided into an introductory and overview volume (German and English) plus ten volumes for the ten social system areas that were examined: Family, Religion, Politics, Law, Healthcare, Academic Research, Education, Market, Media and Military.
